The book presents the collection of oriental carpets in the Department of Ethnology of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the way in which the carpets came to the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It also presents carpet weaving, types of knots, the history of knotted carpets, design, composition and motifs on Persian carpets. The catalogue contains explanations of each individual fragment with accompanying photographs.<\/p>\n
