The exhibition "Not quite the same, not quite different" opened last week in the Zadar Archaeological Museum, and is a tribute to the exhibition "I'll tell you a story", which from 2016 to 2024 visited twenty cities throughout Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro.<\/p>\n
Due to the interest of other museums that wanted to host the exhibition "I'll tell you a story", compared to the first installation in the Zadar Archaeological Museum in 2015, it was enriched with 130 representative grave items made of glass, ceramics, amber, gold, ivory, etc. and copies of tombstones. Along with the audio-recording, a short film about the archaeological research of a part of the ancient necropolis in Zadar and photographs of the exhibited material were added to the exhibition.<\/p>\n
The exhibition "I'll tell you a story" was on display at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2016.<\/p>\n
The backbone of the exhibition "Not quite the same, not quite different" is the expanded exhibition "I'll tell you a story", and with the help of posters, all the museums and host cities where it was displayed were presented. The goal is to show the funeral customs of the autochthonous population and to what extent they changed during the Roman domination in the area of \u200b\u200bthe large provinces of Dalmatia, Pannonia, and Moesia.<\/p>\n
Thus, the poster dedicated to the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina contains photos of objects such as a ceramic vessel with the motif of theater masks from the Japra-Majdani\u0161te site, a stone urn in the form of a sarcophagus from Stolac, a sculpture of the goddess Diana from the Tale\u017e site near Trebinje, a bronze hand of the Sabazios cult from the Gradina site near Srebrenica and others. <\/p>\n
