Laboratory for conservation of archaeological metal and wood

The laboratory is equipped for conservation and restoration of dry and wet wood, metal, and other materials of organic and inorganic origin. Restoration and conservation is performed exclusively with reversible materials, while respecting the authenticity of the material, using modern methods that are additionally modified according to the subject matter.

The regular activity of the laboratory is also the implementation of preventive protection of objects in depots and permanent exhibitions.
