Price list

ENTRANCE TICKETS

  • Children of preschool age: free admission.
  • Children and youth aged 6–18: 2.00 BAM.
  • Students: 2.00 BAM (with a valid student ID or equivalent document).
  • Pensioners: 2.00 BAM (with proof of pension or equivalent document).
  • Adults: 20.00 BAM. Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina: 10.00 BAM (with valid ID card).
  • Adults with a discount: 6.00 BAM (based on agreements with travel agencies).

Note: Entrance between 18:00 and 19:00 is free for children and senior citizens, while adults pay 5.00 BAM.

Tickets can be paid via bank transfer, credit card, or in cash on-site.
If paying via bank transfer, please provide your company ID number.

  • Guided tour for groups (up to 30 people): 100.00 BAM.
    Groups of BiH citizens: 50.00 BAM.
    Guided tours are available in English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
  • Special group packages and workshops (up to 30 people): prices vary depending on the program.

 

VISIT TO THE ROOM WITH THE ORIGINAL SARAJEVO HAGGADAH

REGULAR HOURS

With a regular museum ticket (20.00 BAM / 10.00 BAM / 2.00 BAM)

  • Tuesday, Thursday, first Saturday of the month: 12:00 – 13:00
    Without guided tour

SPECIAL HOURS

With curator guidance (flat rate for fewer than 5 people: 150.00 BAM, or 30.00 BAM per person for 5 or more visitors)

  • Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 – 16:00

IMPORTANT: Individual and group visits to the room with the original Sarajevo Haggadah with a curator must be booked at least three days in advance at [email protected].
The price includes a tour of the entire Museum, without guided service.

 

VENUE RENTAL

  1. Exhibition “Bosnia and Herzegovina in Prehistoric Times”
    • Price: 5,000.00 BAM + VAT
    • Available for promotions, presentations, etc.
    • Food and drinks are not allowed.
  2. Botanical Garden
    • Price: 5,000.00 BAM + VAT
    • Suitable for all types of events.
    • Consumption of food and drinks allowed only in the form of finger food.
    • Walking or placing equipment on green areas is strictly prohibited.
    • The garden must be restored to its original condition the same night or by 10:00 a.m. the following morning.
  3. Herpetarium, Ethnology (Left and Right Halls)
    • Price: 3,000.00 BAM + VAT
    • Available for smaller events if there are no ongoing exhibitions.
  4. Weddings in the Botanical Garden
    • Price: 1,000.00 BAM + VAT
    • Ceremony only, no reception, maximum duration 90 minutes.
    • No alternative venue available.
    • Welcome drink allowed, no catering.
    • Photography allowed only in the garden, not in exhibition areas.

Commercial photography and filming (music videos, commercials, etc.) in the Museum’s spaces: BY AGREEMENT.

Private photography in the Botanical Garden (weddings, graduation photos, etc.): 100.00 BAM (€50.00).

 

USE OF MUSEUM MATERIALS

  • Digital high-resolution photo from the Sarajevo Haggadah for academic/scientific publications: 100.00 BAM
  • Publication rights for photos from the Sarajevo Haggadah: 100.00 BAM
  • Digital high-resolution photos from the photo-monograph “Between Two Empires” and other Museum photo archives for academic/scientific publications: 50.00 BAM
  • Publication rights for photos from the same collections: 50.00 BAM
  • Digital high-resolution photos from the above publications for commercial and marketing purposes (any format): 400.00 BAM
  • Scanning of high-resolution photos or documents from departmental archives: 5.00 BAM
  • Publication rights for photos from departmental archives: 5.00 BAM
  • Digital high-resolution photo of items from the Museum’s collections for commercial use: 50.00 BAM

Scanning of library materials upon request:

  • Publications printed before 1900: 5.00 BAM per page
  • Publications printed 1901–1950: 3.00 BAM per page
  • Publications printed after 1950: 2.50 BAM  per page
  • Scanning up to five pages, regardless of year: 5.00 BAM

Use of photographs for non-commercial purposes (doctoral dissertations, academic and scientific papers, or works promoting the National Museum of BiH): free of charge.
