Commemoration of International Students’ Day
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in celebration of International Students’ Day, the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the FBiH Ministry of Education and Science, will open its doors to students, offering free admission along with some special gifts this year.
Students will have the opportunity to visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Departments of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Natural Sciences from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and view the original Sarajevo Haggadah from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition, over one hundred historical museum publications will be on display in the Department of Natural Sciences. The topics of these publications cover a wide range of social and natural sciences. Although older, the authors of these works laid the foundation for modern scientific thought, making them an essential starting point for young researchers even today.
In the spirit of spreading knowledge and supporting new generations, the National Museum of BiH will gift the displayed publications to all students visiting the Museum on this day. Students can, in consultation with the on-duty librarians, reserve the publications they wish, and will then be informed about the date for collection. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to join the Museum Friends Club by purchasing an annual student membership card.
