Mammals

Of the approximately 6,500 species of mammals, 200 are registered in Europe. The permanent exhibition at the Department of Natural Sciences shows the richness and diversity of this segment of the fauna in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Species from all the main groups of mammals are represented: insectivores (Insectivora), bats (Chiroptera), even-toed ungulates (Lagomorpha), rodents (Rodentia), carnivores (Carnivora) and even-toed ungulates (Artiodactyla).
