All exhibits:
Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Museum is closed on Mondays and public holidays:
- New Year's Day (January 1–2),
- Independence Day (March 1),
- May Day (May 1–2), and
- Statehood Day (November 25).
Library:
Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Admission
- Age 5 and under: Free
- Age 6 to 18: 2.00 KM (BAM)
- Pensioners: 2.00 KM (BAM)
- Adults: 8.00 KM (BAM)
Visit to the vault to see a replica of the Sarajevo Haggadah, per person: 10.00 KM (BAM)

- Museum admission is included.
Visit to the vault to see the original Sarajevo Haggadah, per person: 30.00 KM (BAM)
- Tuesday – Friday only, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
- Because viewings of the original Haggadah are organized in groups of five or more, reservations are required and should be made at least two days in advance. Inquire at least two days in advance by calling + (387) 33/668-027 or e-mailing [email protected].
- Museum admission is included.

How to find us
The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in the centre of Sarajevo, along the main road, at 3 Zmaja od Bosne Street.
The museum can be reached by all tram lines (“Tehnička škola” stop), as well as by the Baščaršija–Dobrinja bus line.

Photographs
In some parts of the Museum the taking of photographs is not permitted. Speak with a curator for more information.
Souvenirs
The museum shop sells museum publications, exhibition catalogues, souvenirs, and postcards. Especially interesting are the replicas of archaeological jewellery.
