National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 131st birthday

The staff of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is thankful to all citizens and the media, who, with their presence, enhanced the celebration of our 131st birthday.

The focus of this year's celebration was the Sarajevo Haggadah and our guests had the chance to attend the lecture 100 Years of the Sarajevo Haggadah: New Directions in Scholarship by professor Marc Michael Epstein, to take a look at our new thematic exhibition "The Three Life of the Sarajevo Haggadah" by Dr. Aleksandra Bunčić and Dr. Mirsada Sijarić, and to attend the promotion of a new edition of the Sarajevo Haggadah facsimile, the first one ever published as an independent edition of the Museum.

For our friends from the Centre for Healthy Aging of the Municipality Centre, we organized a workshop called Social and Family Life in Sarajevo, which was a special pleasure for our curators and is announcing the beginning of the development of special programs for senior visitors.
