This species of primrose (Primulaceae) is known in Bosnia and Herzegovina only from the horticultural material of the National Museum that was collected in the early 20th century from Mt Čvrsnica. It was originally identified and preserved by Pavle Fukarek, who left it to the museum in his will. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) categorises it as a species assumed to be extinct.
Availability
The specimen is part of the Herbarium, a collection of dried plants systematically arranged, located in the Botany Section of the Natural Sciences Department. It may be accessed by prior arrangement with department staff.
