Collections Management Training Program

Fionn Zarubica Learn in cooperation with The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, is offering an intensive six-week Collections Management training program. The Collections Management Training Program will provide education and training in the contemporary profession of Museum Collections Management, its focus is a contemporary and practical approach to the care, management and presentation of art and cultural heritage, development, education and outreach.  It can play an important role in the protection of cultural treasures as well as contribute to a reenergized economy through significant cultural outreach, both locally and internationally.

The program will include theoretical training in the classroom and online, including lectures, audio/video presentations and literature, practical training, work on case studies with an emphasis on teamwork, interaction and exchange of knowledge between the lecturers, participants and colleagues from other institutions and application of acquired theoretical and practical knowledge.
