Derviš M. Korkut was a curator and librarian at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he catalogues the collections of Oriental manuscripts and documents from the Ottoman period. In 1942, he saved the Sarajevo Haggadah, from a German general who attempted to confiscate it, thus this fascinating manuscript from future generations.
