Project "Botanical Garden - Classroom on Biodiversity of Flora" successfully implemented

Works on laying the lighting fixtures and irrigation installations of the Botanical Garden were completed in June. The mentioned works are part of the project "Botanical Garden - Classroom on Biodiversity of Flora", which was financially supported by the Environmental Protection Fund of FBiH. In addition to the above mentioned works within the project the capacity to maintain the garden was strengthened in terms of procurement of necessary equipment: plants were acquired and a part of the rockery flora damaged during the war was rehabilitated. Raising awareness of the public and education of students about the importance of the Botanical Garden in strengthening the conservation of biodiversity in Bosnia and Herzegovina flora, through several educational workshops was also successful. There are also information tables for the Botanical Garden to be set up when other works, carried out within different projects, are completed.
